The Malai earrings are a central piece to the Musim collection, inspired by the tropical monsoon rains. These rains transform the land from blistering heat to luscious green foliage.
The name Malai is derived from Tamil word from rain. This is a nod to the Indian design elements of the Malai earrings. Intricate granules soldered along the hoop's inside and outside to communicate the monsoon's abundance of rain.
